At Cottey, our mission is to help students
become socially responsible, globally aware
leaders. We know you can do it, you just need
something to help you grow! Something like… a
trip abroad! That’s why an international
adventure is part of the Cottey College
experience.
We are committed to giving our students the
global perspective they need to succeed in the
modern world. Students are allowed to select
one of two international experiences their
sophomore year.

EXPERIENCE
NEW CULTURES
These experiences give students tons of free
time to explore their new surroundings, but
they also oer educational modules crafted by
faculty chaperones. Students can choose from
a wide variety of modules. Some examples
include
• A lesson from a flamenco dancer followed by
attending a live performance
• Visiting Camp Nou, the largest soccer
stadium in Europe and home to the
Barcelona Football Club
• Visiting the Galleria Borghese in Italy, an
exquisite art gallery that was once a
cardinal’s small palace
