Academic Integrity Violation Consequences
● Referral to administrator using Teacher’s Handbook
○ with evidence : office referral in Teacher’s Handbook = administrator handles the incident
○ without evidence : minor referral in Teacher’s Handbook = teacher documents the incident
● Restorative meeting with student, teacher and administrator
● Administrator will make parent contact after restorative meeting
● Student will earn a 50% but can choose to earn up to a 75% if they redo the assignment or complete an
alternate assignment
● Academic/Restorative Seminar (run by student club: Students for Academic Integrity and Leadership or
S.A.I.L.) to expunge cheating offense if desired; however, 1
st
offense will be reinstated if student
commits a 2
nd
offense
● No PowerSchool report
● Referral to administrator using office referral in Teacher’s Handbook
● Administrator will make parent contact
● Restorative meeting with student, teacher, parent, and administrator
● Grade of 50% on assignment
● Exclusion from National Honor Society for the rest of the school year
● Incident will be entered into PowerSchool as the 2
nd
offense
● Referral to administrator using office referral in Teacher’s Handbook
● Administrator will make parent contact

● Grade of 50% on assignment
● Exclusion from National Honor Society for the rest of the school year
● Suspension from privileges for 90 days: parking, athletics, clubs and extracurricular activities
● Incident will be entered into PowerSchool
