License Levels of the 2D Software
KIT
The KIT software is the entry level version of the 2D software intended for Trackday / Hobby use. It
comes with predefined fixed templates for the Analyzer software and an easy user-interface to set-up the
data recording system
The KIT Software is free of charge for any Customer who has bought a 2D KIT Logger system or has
bought a standard 2D Logger which is eligible for a KIT license.

KIT-Moto
The KIT-Moto is a non-transferable single user license (per PC) intended for advanced Trackday / Hobby
use as well as small racing teams.
It allows a deep analysis of the data (filtering, phase condition, etc.) as well as user defined calculation
CalcTool channels.
The license will not expire and its locked to initially purchased Version (e.g. Race2021)

Full
The Full License is a non-transferable single user license (per PC) intended for professional level data
analysis for racing teams or vehicle development.
It features unlimited CalcTool channels and analysis tools in the Analyzer as well as the possibility to use
all import plug-ins (extra cost) and the Python and MATLAB
®
Connector.
The license will not expire and its locked to initially purchased Version (e.g. Race2021)
R&D
The R&D License is a non-transferable single user license (per PC) intended for Research and
Development
In addition to all features of the Full license it is possible to fully automate the data analysis with the
scripting automation interface and the CalcTool Toolchains (extra cost).

NET
The NET License is a non-transferable 4 user license pack intended for Research and Development
Groups/Teams and racing teams with multiple engineers / vehicles.
It includes all features of the R&D license and can be installed on up to 4 PCs
The license will not expire and its locked to initially purchased Version (e.g. Race2021)
Team
The Team License is intended for Research and Development Departments and professional racing
teams / factories.
It includes all features of the NET License plus the ability to store multiple track setting on a network, for
all PCs of the Department / Team. It includes 1 year of premium support (prioritized E-Mail-, phone- and
remote-support via TeamViewer, Microsoft Teams, etc.) software updates and small software
modifications requested by the licensee as well as guaranteed implementations of requested features on
additional payment base if possible / feasible.
The Team License is an annual service and support package which will end on the end of February of
the following year (e.g. for Race2021 it will end on March, 1
st
2022), to allow to ensure that all
installations on all computers are running the same version. And can be renewed.
If the customer doesn’t want to renew the contract, all Installations of the Race software can be
converted to a perpetual Full license from the version of the last Team license package (e.g. Race2021).
The conversion is free of charge, 2D license key issue terms apply.
➔ The Team License can also be expressed/included as an annual service contract which can be
customized to include on-site or remote training sessions, firmware updates for the 2D Loggers /
Module and much more depending on the individual needs of the customer
With the Team License is it necessary that the Customers appoints a “Team License Manager” who is
responsible for handling the licensing between the customer and 2D.
The “Team License Manager” will get support tools for handling the licensing requests for his department
/ team.
License key (re-)issuing
Completely filled license requests received via E-Mail will be handled within one business day free of
charge.
Partial or incomplete license requests are subject to a 50€ surcharge.
Emergency / fast license key (re-)issuing via a phone / TeamViewer even on nights, weekends and/or
public holidays is possible, express fees apply.
